LEGION is a retrofuturistic hard sci-fi table top role playing game set in the 23rd Century, which centers character growth and roleplay over resource management and powergaming
The year is 2240 CE. Humanity has been mostly united under rule of the United Alliance of Terrra.
Born from the ashes of the apoclyptic TITAN WAR, the UAT has united the Human, Triin, and Xythra species under a single constitution.
The UAT was formed from the Terran Revolutionary Republic and is a federal republic made up of Human, Xythra, and Triin worlds. Its main belief is a clear rejection of the human-centric superiority that once defined the UNE. As the new leading power, it focuses on rebuilding a galaxy torn by war, supporting colonization efforts, and strengthening its control amid ongoing threats.
While most of the old UNE was dissolved or absorbed, its most fervent believers did not surrender. The Reserve is a shadowy faction of UNE loyalists, military hardliners, and political ideologues who view the UAT as an illegitimate usurper state. Having fled to secret deep-space stations, they are driven by a burning desire for revenge and the restoration of a purely human-dominated galactic order.
